Some early-morning Subway customers will be walking away with free breakfast sandwiches in May, the company announced this week.
Any customer who purchases a regular sub before 9 a.m. also will receive a free, 6-inch breakfast sandwich, the company said Thursday.
In a statement, Subway said the buy-one-get-one deal will begin May 1, and will be available in all participating stores across the country.
"Everyone knows the importance of breakfast to help fuel their day, that's why this May we want to make your morning even better by offering a free Subway breakfast as a reward of enjoying any of our millions of fresh, handcrafted sandwich combinations," Chris Martone, Subway's executive chef said in an official statement.
Coupons are not required to get the deal, officials said.
