A British research organization is warning that a Donald Trump presidency may have negative effects on the global economy, NBC News reported.
The Economist Intelligence Unit released its updated global risk assessment, ranking the election of Trump a 12 on a scale of one to 25.
The firm cited several reasons, including Trump’s stance on free trade, his accusations of China being a “currency manipulator,” his comments about killing terrorists’ families and his proposal to move troops into Syria to fight ISIS.
