The U.S. military on Monday countered claims that civilians have been killed by recent U.S. airstrikes on ISIS positions in Syria and Iraq, NBC News reported. "We are aware of media reports alleging civilian casualties, but have no evidence to corroborate these claims," Colonel Patrick Ryder, a spokesman at Central Command told Reuters. A group monitoring the airstrikes said Monday that an attack on a grain storage facility near Manbij, Syria killed civilians instead of Islamist militants.
