Vice President Joe Bide and his son Hunter made a surprise stop at the Emanuel AME church Sunday morning in Charleston, South Carolina. "We came back because our family wanted to show solidarity with your family and church," Biden said at the service. Another reason, Biden said, was to "draw strength from the church" following the death of his son Beau Biden last month. Earlier this month, nine people were massacred during a Bible study at the Emanuel AME church. The White House said the Vice President would not be attending the funeral for one of the victims, Rev. DePayne Middleton-Doctor, which was schedule later Sunday.
