President Barack Obama spoke to troops at Joint Base Maguire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey on Monday. "Thank you for your extraordinary service," the president said to the assembled group of soldiers, who represented each branch of America's armed forces. The president specifically praised the Armed Forces' work in Africa to halt the spread of Ebola, and discussed efforts underway to provide more jobs for returning military personnel and their families as America draws down its military presence in Afghanistan.
