Newsom Plans to Keep Things Simple Tonight

Mayor Gavin Newsom is all about business tonight.

Unfortunately for San Francisco, it is not necessarily city business. The mayor has his eyes set on Sacramento and his heart will be there today as well. Newsom has a low key day planned as his political future and possibly the state's lay in his election.

The lieutenant governor hopeful is scheduled to vote at a polling station near his Pacific Heights home and then make a couple of campaign stops.

But this evening, Newsom will be at Tres Agaves, at 130 Townsend St. in the City at 8 p.m. just as the returns start rolling in.

Newsom will host an election party at the tequila bar and give his victory -- or concession -- speech at Tres Agaves.
