2019 NHL All-Star Game: How to Watch on TV, Stream Online

The 44 best players in the NHL have descended on San Jose for the 2019 NHL All-Star Game.

Following the format of the last three NHL All-Star Games, the event on Saturday night will consist of a four-team, 3-on-3 tournament. The Pacific Division will take on the Central Division, while the Atlantic Division will take on the Metropolitan Division. The teams that emerge from those two games will face each other to determine the All-Star Game winner. Last year, the Pacific defeated the Atlantic to claim the crown.

This iteration of the NHL All-Star Game will have a youthful element to it. Captains Connor McDavid (22 years old), Auston Matthews (21) and Nathan MacKinnon (23) are all recent No. 1 overall picks.

The fourth captain, Alex Ovechkin, is also a former No. 1 overall pick, but the Capitals star will not play in the game.

Three players from the host Sharks will participate for the Pacific Division: Joe Pavelski, Brent Burns and Erik Karlsson.
