49ers' Aldon Smith Puts San Jose Home on Market For $2.988 Million

The 25-year-old linebacker is headed into the last year of his rookie contract.

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith is on the move.

Or, at least, he hopes to be: Smith has listed his home in the East San Jose hills for sale for $2.988 million, the Los Angeles Times reports.

"Unique opportunity to own one of the largest estates with views of the entire South Bay," reads the listing. "This custom designed home features a lifestyle fit for a king."

The royal treatment is a gated mansion with six bedrooms and five bathrooms that sits on nearly 10 acres. There's a home theater, multiple outdoor kitchens and a pool/spa area.

Utility bills at the home are low thanks to solar panels, according to the listing, and several outdoor and indoor fireplaces. There is also a horse stable, but no animals for sale.

It’s the same house police searched after an infamous house party in June 2012.

When police searched the home they found five unregistered weapons. Smith was later sentenced to misdemeanor assault weapons charges.

Smith purchased the home for $1.75 million in 2012. The 25-year-old is headed into the last year of his rookie contract and poised to make $9.754 million in 2015.
