49ers' New Levi's Stadium Sees First Arrest

Eric Johnson now owns the title for being the first person arrested at Levi's Stadium.

The 51-year-old Watsonville man was "spotted wandering inside" Levi's Stadium, the 49ers' new $1.3 billion football palace in Santa Clara, at about 6:45 a.m. on July 15, according to the San Jose Mercury News.

Security officers detained Johnson for trespassing, and then discovered that he had an arrest warrant out in San Mateo County. He was booked into jail and released the next day, the newspaper reported.

Technically, an unidentifed construction worker was the first person arrested at the stadium site, but Johnson's arrest was the first bust at the completed Levi's Stadium.
