The San Francisco 49ers held their third annual Fan Fest at Candlestick Park Saturday afternoon.
More than 10,000 fans watched a live training camp practice on the field, the only time a public practice will be held on their home field, according to a 49ers press release.
The event lasted from noon to 4 p.m. and included live entertainment, interactive partner booths, a Kids Zone, face painting, clinics, and photo opportunities. Fans also had the opportunity to buy 49ers merchandise.
The press release said autographs would be given to a small selection of fans through a random ticket drawing. Those selected to get autographs were notified by e-mail.
Game-day security measures were in effect at Fan Fest, including the new NFL Bag Policy.
The 49ers' regular season begins Sept. 8 at Candlestick Park against the Green Bay Packers.
