49ers Quarterback Colin Kaepernick's San Jose House on the Market for $2.9 Million

Is Colin Kaepernick bidding adieu to the Bay Area?

The San Francisco 49ers' quarterback is selling his San Jose house for $2.895 million, the Los Angeles Time reported. Kaepernick, 29, shelled out $2.7 million for the Silver Creek property just two years ago.

The gated two-story house spans nearly 4,600 feet and features four bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. The property, which is 22,000 square feet, also includes a bar, waterfall swimming pool, jacuzzi, entertainment room, and renovated kitchen, according to the listing.

Mike Strouf with Intero Real Estate Services is the home's agent.

Kaepernick can opt out of his contract with the 49ers at the end of the football season. He has made headlines recently for protesting alleged police brutality and racial oppression by refusing to stand during the National Anthem.
