SANTA CLARA – Defensive linemen DeForest Buckner and Glenn Dorsey will return to action on Sunday when the 49ers face the Buffalo Bills.
Buckner and Dorsey, who missed last week’s game with foot and knee injuries, respectively, were not among the seven inactive players the 49ers announced 90 minutes before Sunday’s game. Both players were listed as questionable for the game. Linebacker Ahmad Brooks was also listed as questionable with a groin injury. He will also play on Sunday.
Safety Jaquiski Tartt will not suit up for the game due to a quadriceps injury. Also, cornerback Jimmie Ward will miss his third consecutive game with a quadriceps injury. Rookie Rashard Robinson will start for Ward.
The 49ers will have six wide receivers active for the game, including Keshawn Martin, whom the 49ers signed on Sept. 27. Martin is set to make his debut with the 49ers after catching 24 passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns with the New England Patriots last season.
Tight end Vance McDonald returns to action after missing 2 ½ games due to a hip injury. The 49ers made a change to their depth chart, as Je’Ron Hamm replaces second-year player Blake Bell as the team’s No. 3 tight end. Bell was not on the injury report this week.
