Big Ben Takes on Nnamdi with Jokes

With Oakland Raiders' cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha questionable for Sunday's game against the Pittburgh Steelers with an ankle sprain, the Steelers are encouraging Nnamdi to use up all his paid time off before the end of the year.

Asomugha missed last Sunday's win over the Chiefs, and Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger would prefer for Nnamdi to miss his second straight game.

"Is he going to play this week?" Roethlisberger asked Bay Area reporters Wednesday, in a conference call transcribed by the Oakland Tribune.

"It’s up in the air," a local reporter replied.

"I would send this warning to him," Roethlisberger replied. "Be careful with our field, because it’s terrible."

Jerry McDonald notes in the Trib that, "Roethlisberger began laughing at the world 'terrible'.”

Funny Asomugha joke, Ben! Since we're in a kidding mood, I understand there are some Ben Roethlisberger jokes out there as well.
