Don't Bet on the 49ers, Raiders Landing in Next Year's Super Bowl

Now that Aaron Rodgers officially has 49ers' fans everywhere dreaming of what could have been, the folks in Vegas have put out the odds of what can be next year for both Bay Area football teams.

Bodog Sportsbook has put out its annual list of odds for teams winning next year's Super Bowl and both Bay Area teams are not surprisingly not expected to fair too well.

With an off season of doubt officially starting Monday, the odds makers are taking into account team's current rosters and coaching staffs.

The San Francisco 49ers appear to still be enjoying the bump of hiring the hottest coach of the off season.

Jim Harbaugh's team is listed as 40 to 1 odds off hoisting the Vince Lombardy Trophy next year.
The 49ers's divisional rivals the Seattle Seahawks are listed as 85 to 1, while the Arizona Cardinals are listed as 75 to 1 and the Sam Bradford led St. Louis Rams are listed as 40 to 1.

The Oakland Raiders have a new coach but odds makers still list the team lower than the 49ers, despite having a settled quarterback situation and some cohesiveness on the offensive side of the ball.

Bodog lists the Raiders odds as 50 to 1 to win Super Bowl XLVI. The boys in Vegas prefer the San Diego Chargers at 12 to 1 odds and the Kansas City Chiefs at 35 to 1 odds in the AFC West.

The only team expected to have longer odds at reaching the Super Bowl out of the west than the Raiders is the Tim Tebow-led Denver Broncos 60 to 1.

Maybe catching Santana Moss would improve the Raiders odds.
