The Warriors entered Saturday with three separate scenarios to clinch a playoff spot.

They could win, have the Rockets lose or have the Blazers and Jazz lose to qualify for the 2016 postseason.

And the Rockets did their part, losing to the Spurs 104-92 in Houston Saturday evening.

The Warriors are the first team to clinch a playoff spot in February since the 1987-88 Lakers, according to Elias Sports Bureau.
