Giants Series Lead Cut in Half

Giants Now Lead Series 2-1

The Giants fell behind early in game three of the World Series tonight in Arlington, Texas and could not pull out the victory, losing to the Rangers, 4-2.

Jonathon Sanchez gave up a three-run homerun in the bottom of the second inning to Mitch Moreland, putting the Rangers in the driver's seat.

Sanchez lasted only 4.2 innings, allowing four runs on six hits and two homeruns.

The Giants battled back in the late innings with solo homeruns from Cody Ross and Andres Torres, but that was all the offense they would get for the night.

This was the first ever World Series game played at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington and it was a good start for the Texas Rangers.

Game four will be tomorrow at 5:20p.m. PST.

Madison Bumgarner will take the hill for the Giants versus Tommy Hunter for the Rangers.
