Local sports stars are set to come together to help fight hunger in several Bay Area counties.
Joe Montana, Vida Blue, Eric Wright, Kristi Yamaguchi, and Bret Hedican are among the world-class athletes who will mingle with guests over small bites at Taste of Champions at Levi's Stadium on March 1.
The event will be held in the Yahoo! Fantasy Football Lounge.
Wright, who brought the athletes together, conceived of a business casual event where people could talk to the stars over good food rather than host a stiff, photo-driven, meet-and-greet affair.
Tickets are $149 and benefit Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano and Second Harvest of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.
