It’s only a game … It’s only a game.
That’s what Warriors’ fans are telling themselves Tuesday, now that news is out about NBA2K16’s latest prediction: The Dubs go down, for the first time this season, 103-99 to Indiana.
Of course it’s only a game. But really, some of these video games have predicted the future with amazing accuracy, and when it comes to sports results, the eeriness gets close to Illuminati level stuff.
Super Bowls picked, right down to who would make the last-second clinching interception. Even countries going to war, predicted early by Tom Clancy video games.
Turns out game creators are also prophets.
But the Warriors?
Come on. If a 23-point deficit to the Clippers wasn’t enough to end the streak, are we really gonna believe a video game?

Hmmmmm.

#NBA2K16 ran a simulation a few weeks ago and showed the Warriors winning until the Pacers. Will it happen? https://t.co/rqluJvLNLx — NBA 2K 2K16 (@NBA2K) December 8, 2015
