Record-Breaking Olympian Usain Bolt: I'm Too Fast to Get Bit by Mosquitos

Bolt won gold in the 100m and 200m at the Beijing and London Games

Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt is the fastest runner in the world. But can he outrun pesky mosquitoes?

The 29-year-old Olympian seems to thinks so.

In an interview on the "Today" show Wednesday, the 29-year-old Olympian revealed his disdain for training, but said he's working harder than ever for the Rio Olympics in order to defend his titles.

Asked whether he worries about the Zika outbreak that may endanger him and other athletes competing in the city of Rio de Janeiro in less than three months, Bolt said he hopes by the time he get there "they'll have it under control."

According to Bolt's teammates, he repels mosquitos.

"Because I'm fast," he explained. "They can't catch me."
