Rahul Mamtora, San Jose 11-Year Old Designs, LeBron James Nike Tee

A Golden State Warriors fan from the South Bay is behind the new Lebron t-shirt.

A San Jose sixth-grader has received a rare honor.

A nod from King James.

Rahul Mamtora, 11, was picked by NBA superstar Lebron James to design the two-time champion's newest Nike t-shirt.

Rahul also won new equipment for his school's PE program and an all-expenses paid trip for him and his family to go to a Miami Heat home game.

James picked Rahul's design from hundreds of submissions, pithily informing the world via Facebook that Rahul "killed it," the Mercury News noted.

Rahul's design is a play off of James's vow to win "not one, not two" titles in Miami with the Heat. He won his second last summer -- meaning the boast is close to fruition.

Nike has interviewed Rahul with a professional film crew at his home in the Evergreen neighborhood of San Jose and also met with the AAU point guard's fellow students at Matsumoto Elementary, the newspaper reported.

Nike is already selling Rahul's t-shirt. It's online now for $30 and will be in local stores soon.
