Raiders Grab Ex-Bronco Jarvis Moss

The Oakland Raiders did, in fact, gather Moss after finding that linebacker Trevor Scott is lost for the rest of the season with a torn ACL.

The Raiders signed former Denver Bronco Jarvis Moss Monday, the San Francisco Chronicle's Vittorio Tafur reports. Moss is a fourth-year pro who will serve as a backup to Matt Shaughnessy.

Moss was drafted No. 17 overall by the Broncos, but his pro career thus far has been a flop. The high point of his Broncos career was the 2008 season, in which he had 12 tackles and 2.5 sacks.

The news broke, of all places, on Jarvis Moss' Twitter account. Or so I'm told, at least. Jarvis Moss' tweets are protected, meaning only his chosen few followers get to read them.

Wait, there's a technology that can keep one's stupidest tweets from appearing to the general public? Someone needs to tell Kanye West about this.

By the head count provided on Vittorio Tafur's Twitter, we see that the Raiders now have 14 former first-round picks on their roster.
