Raiders' Ford Wins Player of the Month Honors

The honors keep rolling in for the Oakland Raiders' potentially better-than-average 2010 season.

Raiders.com reports that Raiders rookie kick returner and wide receiver Jacoby Ford has been named AFC Special Teams Player of the Month by the NFL. Ford had kickoff returns for touchdowns against both the Chiefs and the Dolphins.

In the three games in the month of November, Ford averaged 245 all-purpose yards per game. That's not just one big game, that's averaging 245 yards over three games.

In addition to the kickoff return touchdowns, Ford led the Raiders in receiving for two of those three games. In last Sunday's Miami game, Ford even led the team in rushing.

The Raiders were 1-2 over that three-game period.
