Raiders Invite Tackle Prospect for Work Out

The Oakland Raiders may not have a first round pick but that isn't stopping the team from inviting players for a workout.

Clemson offensive tackle Chris Hairston is scheduled for a private workout with the Oakland Raiders, according to the National Football Post.

The 6-foot-6, 323-pounder tackle was a two-time All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection. He has already worked out for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Hairston is not projected to go in the first round of next month's draft.

The invitation to work in Alameda for the Raiders comes after the Raiders drafted a tackle in last year's draft and said good bye to former No. 1 draft pick Robert Gallery earlier this month.
