Nicknamed “Baby Shaq,” Sylvia Fowles is a force in women’s basketball. The first ever woman to dunk in international competition, Fowles has the size of a center but the speed and quickness of a guard. Standing 6-foot-6, the Florida native was an All-American all four years at Louisiana State University and was named the 2008 SEC Player of the Year. The second overall pick by the Chicago Sky in 2008, Fowles is a two-time WNBA Defensive Player of the Year. In 2015, Fowles led the Minnesota Lynx to a WNBA Championship and earned Finals MVP honors.
