The A's game against the Rangers in Arlington, Texas was postponed due to heavy rain. The game was supposed to start at 5:05 p.m. PT, but was called off at 5:53 p.m. PT.
The teams will make up the game as part of a doubleheader on June 8. The originally scheduled game is set to start at 6:05 p.m. PT.

According to Weather.com, there's a minimum 45 percent chance of rain in Arlington through midnight local time.

The A's and Rangers are set to play the series finale on Sunday at 12:05 p.m. PT and the forecast calls for lots of sunshine. Oakland won't adjust their rotation as Brett Anderson, originally scheduled to pitch Sunday, will remain on turn. Marco Estrada was scheduled to start Saturday, but will now make his next start in Oakland against the Blue Jays on April 20.
