A's Vs. Angels Lineups: Chad Pinder, Sheldon Neuse Start Against Lefty

The A's begin their final six-game road trip of the season Tuesday night in Anaheim as they take on the Los Angeles Angels. Oakland leads the AL wild-card race by 1 1/2 games over the Tampa Bay Rays and two games over the Cleveland Indians.

The A's will load up their lineup with right-handed hitters as they face Angels left-hander Dillon Peters. First baseman Matt Olson is the only lefty in Oakland's order, batting third. Chad Pinder will start in left field and hit seventh, while Sheldon Neuse will handle second base and bat ninth.

Peters will be making his 11th start of the season and his 16th appearance overall. The 27-year-old is 3-3 with a 4.81 ERA and 1.51 WHIP. This will be his first time facing Oakland.

The A's will counter with right-hander Homer Bailey. The 33-year-old is 13-8 with a 4.55 ERA in 30 starts between Oakland and Kansas City this season. Since joining the A's, Bailey is 6-2 with a 4.21 ERA in 12 starts. He has faced the Angels twice in his career, going 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA.
