A's Vs. Cubs Lineups: Slugger Khris Davis on Bench in NL Ballpark

The A's head to Chicago to face a Cubs team that will bring back some memories. The last time the two faced each other at Wrigley Field was in 2010.

Matt Chapman was 17 years old in 2010.

With the greeting of the Friendly Confines, the A's will send Chris Bassitt to the mound to begin the three-game stint. He's currently boasting a 2.35 ERA in his last four starts and lefties are hitting just .187 against him this season.

The team is riding high finishing up a two-game short home sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals where newly acquired Tanner Roark and Dustin Garneau shined for the team

The A's are 14-7 since the All-Star break and 28-12 dating back to June 17.

The Cubbies are also sitting rather pretty having won 11 of their last 13 home games since June 27. The team will send Kyle Hendricks to the mound. At home, he thrives and has gone 4-2 with a 1.89 in nine home starts this season.

Khris Davis is unsurprisingly out of the lineup against the NL team.
