A's Vs. Mariners Lineups: Franklin Barreto Back in Lineup in Seattle

The A's head into a three-game series against the Seattle Mariners before the All-Star break with some additional All-Star news of their own: Reliever Liam Hendriks has been added to the American League squad to fill in for Tampa Bay's Charlie Morton.

He will join third baseman Matt Chapman for the 90th Midsummer Classic on Tuesday, July 9.

Friday night, Brett Anderson will take the mound at T-Mobile Park in Seattle with the rest of the roster looking relatively the same, minus an absence of Jurickson Profar who will be replaced by Franklin Barreto at second base. He will be rounding out the hitters in the ninth slot.

Anderson is coming off a hot start against the Angels on June 29 when he threw 7 2/3 scoreless frames. He will face the M's for the third time this season. The last time he went against the team, he dazzled on the mound pitching 6 1/3 innings of one-run ball.

Seattle will have Yusei Kikuchi on the hill who is not as successful in his last several outings. He's currently 1-4 with an 8.42 ERA in his last seven starts with 19 strikeouts and 18 walks in 31 innings.

Here are how the lineups look to shape up as the Mariners host the A's. You can follow the action on NBC Sports California or download and streaming on the MyTeams app
