The Orioles managed to leave Monday's game with a win over the A's thanks to some offensive help and some pitching woes for the Green and Gold: The A's fell 12-4 to the Orioles in Baltimore.
Even with the A's finding plenty of chances on the offensive side of the ball, hitting 11 times, Marco Estrada lasted for just four innings and gave up six runs on nine hits.
The team hopes to turn it around in game two of the four-game series.
The road seems to be a thorn in the side of the A's who currently sit at an 0-6 record away from the Coliseum -- and Oakland has dropped four in a row. That's part in due to the team being 1-for-19 with runners on base.
Yikes.
But, it appeared most of the attention was on the Orioles' first baseman Chris Davis who is currently 0-for-49 since hitting a double on Sept. 14 of last year.
