The A's continue their three-game series against the Rangers on Saturday and come off of an 8-6 win on Friday night.
Marco Estrada will start on the bump for the A's as he seeks his first win of the season. He got off to a shaky start against the Orioles when he allowed six runs in four innings during the 12-4 win.
Adrian Sampson will take starting honors for the Rangers. He too is seeking his first win of the season. Last season, with the Rangers, Sampson was 0-3 with a 3.57 ERA in four September starts. Now, the word on the street is he appears to be much sharper this season thanks to some development on his slider.
