A's Vs. Rays Lineups: Chad Pinder Starting in Left Field Against Rays

It's the Battle of the Bays -- well, sorta ... when the Tampa Bay Rays host the A's for the second game of a three-game series.

Apparently, there's a Bay Area in Florida as well. Who knew? I didn't, that's for sure.

Starting on the bump for the A's will be Mike Fiers who has posted a 4.76 ERA on the season. He's not putting up flashy numbers in other categories with a 6.19 strikeouts per nine innings, which is a major drop from last season between two teams.

Hey, I'm not being negative, I'm just putting all those numbers out there for the world to see. But the numbers against the Rays over his career aren't great either, so don't look those up if you can help yourself.

The A's face Ryne Stanek, who will make his 19th start this season and has a 2.78 ERA. None of his starts have lasted more than two innings. But, the Rays are 12-6 when he starts on the mound.

Monday night was an unfamiliar start in familiar territory for A's newcomer Tanner Anderson. The Tampa Bay native made his first start of the season for the Green and Gold and impressed skipper Bob Melvin, who said it appeared as if the 26-year-old had been pitching for the team since the beginning.

That wasn't enough, however, as the team lost 6-2 to the Rays.

This is how the A's-Rays lineups plan to shape up for Tuesday's matchup.
