After Playing in D-League All-Star Game, Briante Weber Recalled to Warriors

The Warriors recalled guard Brianté Weber from the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League, the team announced today.

Weber was assigned to Santa Cruz to allow him to participate in the 2017 NBA D-League All-Star Game on Saturday in New Orleans, where he tallied four points, two assists and two steals in 16 minutes for the West squad.

Weber, who signed his second 10-day contract with the Warriors on Feb. 14, has appeared in five games with Golden State this season, averaging 1.6 points and 1.0 assist in 8.2 minutes.

Prior to joining Golden State, the 6'2", 165-pound guard appeared in 31 games (all starts) this season with the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA D-League, averaging 16.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 3.26 steals in 36.8 minutes and garnering NBA D-League Player of the Month honors in January.
