After Signing With Vikings, Latavius Murray Thanks Raider Nation

Latavius Murray will suit up in purple next season in Minnesota, but his stint in Silver and Black is not lost on the big-bodied back.

"Thank You Raidernation," he wrote on Instagram Thursday morning, a day after signing with the Vikings. "For 4 years I've had the chance to be a part of such a passionate and exciting fan base.. I appreciate the support. Thanks to the Raider organization for giving the "no combine invite, 6th round draft pick" the opportunity to represent such a historic organization and wear the silver and black"

Murray, 27, averaged 4.2 yards per carry over 543 attempts in three seasons since he was drafted in the sixth round. Of his 20 rushing touchdowns, 12 came last season when he became the first Raiders running back since Marcus Allen to reach double-digit scores.
