Antonio Brown remains out of the NFL. The former four-time All-Pro played in one game with the Patriots this season, scoring one touchdown on four receptions and 56 yards.
Could a return be in the works, though?
ESPN's Josina Anderson reported Thursday morning that Brown is scheduled to meet with the NFL next week regarding sexual assault accusations from multiple women.
Brown, who was traded from the Steelers to the Raiders in March, was cut by Oakland in September, days before the Silver and Black's Week 1 opener after Brown asked for his release once the team voided his contract guarantees following an offseason of frostbitten feet, fines from unexcused absences and a confrontation with general manager Mike Mayock.
New England quickly signed AB, but he only lasted one game. The Patriots cut Brown on Sept. 20, a day after he sent menacing text messages to an artist who accused him of making unwanted sexual advances. Brown's former trainer, Britney Taylor, accused him of rape in a federal lawsuit that same month.
If Brown wants back in the NFL, he might have hurt his chances yet again on Thursday. AB sent NSFW messages regarding the NFL on his Twitter and Instagram.

The Seahawks reportedly explored adding Brown before Seattle claimed wide receiver Josh Gordon. Brown's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN there are "a few teams that are very interested in signing Antonio once this process is over."
Brown has plenty of explaining to do if he does wind up meeting with the NFL next.
