Bad Night For Big Unit

Looking to inch closer to the 300 win club, Randy Johnson had his worst outing of the season giving up seven runs in 5 2/3 innings.  The Big Unit didn't record a strikout for the first time since August 4, 2006, and still sits at 297 career wins.

The Rockies dominated the Giants from start to finish, crushing San Francisco 11-1 in the first game of their two game series.  Ex-Giant Yorvit Torrealba drove in two runs including a solo shot off of Johnson in the 5th.  Todd Helton had three hits, including a solo home run of his own while the Rockies smashed thirteen hits (three HR's) in their dominating effort.

The Giants fell to 13-13 on the season, 6 1/2 games behind the Dodgers in the West.  The two game mini-series wraps up on Thursday at 12:10pm.
