Bruce Bochy Jokes Playing Time Determinant on Players' Impersonations of Him

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- On a rare, frigid and wet day in the desert, the Giants participated in photo day. And if you're wondering if it mirrored the photo day you grew up participating in, the answer is "well, kind of."

While there weren't any boxed selections for the dozen wallet sizes, there was a green screen and the guys were very natural -- especially Derek Holland, but that goes without saying:

One particular thing that was asked of the guys was to do their best Bruce Bochy impression.

Talk about pressure. Just ask Austin Slater. The poor guy felt like he was put on the spot (and he was) when he was asked to show off his Bochy-ism.

And the best part? Bochy, who recently announced he will retire after this season, walked right by.

"You set me up for this, didn't you?" Slater laughed.

Later, Bochy was asked if he was able to see any of the impressions. He didn't, but asked which impression was the best.

They were all good, and we may be biased, but NBC Sports Bay Area's own Amy G. did a phenomenal impression of the three-time World Series manager.

He then joked whoever did the best version of himself could benefit.

"Maybe that'll determine playing time," he laughed.

Looks like the ball's in your court, Amy.
