Can A's Khris Davis Hit a .247 Average for the Fifth Season in a Row?

They say if you do something for 21 days straight, you can form a habit. And while this may work for some people, Khris Davis formed a habit of hitting the same batting average four years in a row.

Yep. He posted a .247 average for four consecutive seasons. Incredible, right?

And what do you think he's predicted to hit in 2019?

You guessed it:

According to MLB Stats, he could hit .247 again this season.

Baseball Reference projects he will bat .243. And on FanGraphs, STEAMER projects him hitting .240.

We don't know what he's going to hit in regard to his slash line, but the league-leading home run hitter in 2018 (48) is predicted to hit around the same amount of home runs.

And while hitting .247 for the fifth time is pretty cool -- so is hitting balls out of the park.
