Kevin Love is going to be on the shelf for awhile.
The Cavaliers forward underwent surgery on his left knee Tuesday morning and is expected to miss six weeks, the team announced.
The procedure was to remove a loose body from the knee.
Love -- a 2017 All-Star -- is averaging 20.0 points and 11.1 rebounds over 31.9 minutes per game this season.
Cleveland (37-16) has a two-game lead over Boston for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
