A's rookie Matt Chapman picked the perfect time to produce his first career hit in the bigs with a go-ahead double in the eighth inning of a 7-6 win over the Yankees in Oakland.
Chapman's double down the left field line scored Yonder Alonso and Ryon Healy to break a 6-5 deficit.
The A's are now 29-38 on the year.
