One major hurdle has been cleared in the Raiders' bid to play the 2019 season in Oakland.
The Raiders' lease agreement was approved by the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Authority during a meeting Friday morning.
Bay Area News Group's David DeBolt was first to report the agreement.

The remaining hurdles should be cleared with room to spare.
Now, the Oakland City Council, the Alameda County Board of Supervisors and NFL owners must approve the lease agreement, but none of those entities are expected to stand in the way of the pact.

The agreement includes an option for 2020, in case the Raiders' new stadium in Las Vegas is delayed.
