MLB Trade Deadline Show: A's Reporter Ben Ross Expects More Trades

It's a statement the A's are all too familiar with: "What will they do?"

NBC Sports California's A's insider Benjamin Ross joined the MLB Trade Deadline show on Wednesday and mentioned he's anticipating the team to make one or two more trades before the deadline and they will more than likely be tailored around pitching.

Up until now, the Green and Gold acquired starter Homer Bailey and relief arm Jake Diekman to a pitching staff that could use improvements in both categories.

The A's sit in second place behind the Houston Astros in the AL West with a 61-47 record and second in the AL Wild-Card race.

Check out the video above for Ross' analysis of the A's strategy,

Editor's note: Video was recorded before the A's traded outfield prospect Jameson Hannah for right-handed pitcher Tanner Roark.
