The A's added some lcoal power to their lineup on Wednesday night.
Searching for another young bat in the outfield, the A's reportedly acquired Stephen Piscotty from the Cardinals, according to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports. In return, the A's are reportedly sending two minor league players. Names are not yet known.

Piscotty, 26, suffered a down year in 2017. He hit .235 with only nine home runs in 107 games played. However, in 2016, he hit .273 and slugged 22 home runs.
The outfielder has plenty of Bay Area ties. Piscotty attended Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton and played college baseball at Stanford.
St. Louis selected Piscotty No. 36 overall out of Stanford in the 2012 MLB Draft.
