There's a ball boy at the Coliseum that deserves a raise or some sort of reward, and the A's relievers should be the ones to make it happen.
Why, you might ask? Because the ball boy down the left field line made an incredible catch in front of the A's bullpen in the top of the fourth inning Sunday, saving the relievers from possible injury.
Mariners catcher Tom Murphy lined a ball that was headed straight into the A's bullpen. But the ball boy sprang into action and made the catch (he actually almost overran it.)

If the ball boy had failed to make the catch, an A's reliever might be headed for the injured list.

We understand that he was just doing his job, but we still suggest that the A's bullpen does something to reward the young man.
