Giants Vs. Braves Lineups: Stephen Vogt Latest to Play Left Field

The San Francisco Giants are using yet another left fielder. In what seems to be a non-stop game of Pin the Tail on the Outfielder ever since the days of Barry Bonds, Bruce Bochy has now turned to a catcher who missed all of last season with a shoulder injury.

That's right folks, Stephen Vogt to left is your newest Oracle Park experiment. Surprisingly, this isn't the first time Vogt has played the outfield.

Vogt has played 21 games in the outfield in his seven-year MLB career. He first did so in 2012 as a member of the Rays, and last wore an outfielder's glove with the A's, playing two innnings in left field two years ago.

The 34-year-old has played 11 games this season with the Giants. He's batting .241 with one home run and three RBI.

Giants top pitching prospect Shaun Anderson is making his second start in the bigs. Anderson, 24, allowed two earned runs and struck out five in his debut.
