Giants Vs. Phillies Lineups: First Game After MLB Trade Deadline

The MLB trade deadline has come and gone, and now the Giants can focus on trying to make the playoffs.

Madison Bumgarner, Will Smith and Tony Watson remained with San Francisco and will contribute to the push for an NL wild-card spot.

In the first game after the trade deadline, Jeff Samardzija will take the mound against the Phillies. The Shark is coming off a solid start against the Padres, and will look to build off that.

With the Giants acquiring former All-Star Scooter Gennett and top prospect Mauricio Dubon, Joe Panik's days with San Francisco could be numbered. For now, he's playing second base and batting eighth on Wednesday.

Coverage begins with Giants Pregame Live at 3 p.m. on NBC Sports Bay Area and streaming on the My Teams app.
