MLB Rumors: Matt Joyce Released by Giants After Three Days With Team

Matt Joyce was a member of the Giants organization for all of three days. He was acquired just one day after he was released by the Indians -- now he's a member of the Braves, as reported by the San Francisco Chronicle's Hank Schulman.

Got all of that? That's right, the 11-year veteran outfielder was a member of three different teams in the last week.

He will be joining the Braves on a minor-league deal. The 34-year-old played in 83 games with the A's last season, boasting a .208/.322/.353 line with seven home runs and 15 RBI.
