The way the rotation is set up, Noah Syndergaard is in line to start for the Mets in a potential NL Wild Card Game, manager Terry Collins told reporters Monday.
In two starts against the Giants this season, Syndergaard was 1-1 with a 2.61 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 13.2 innings. He was charged with two runs in six innings against the Cardinals.
