The Sacramento Kings walked into AT&T Center short-handed and then things got worse. Minutes into the team's matchup with the San Antonio Spurs, they lost their coach as well. Head coach Dave Joerger appeared to lose his balance and take a knee just minutes into the game.
Assistant coach Elston Turner instantly grabbed Joerger to support him. Joerger was able to regain his balance and was quickly escorted to the locker room by head trainer Pete Youngman.
About 20 minutes after the incident occurred, the Kings announced that Joerger suffered a "momentary episode of light headedness" and would not return to the game for precautionary reasons.
