Kings Add ex-Warriors Player, 76ers Exec as Assistant GM

After losing Scott Perry, the Kings have added to their front office.

Brandon D. Williams, who had served as the Vice President of Basketball Administration for the 76ers and GM of Philadelphia's G-League team for the last four seasons, has been hired as an assistant GM, the team announced on Sunday.

Williams, a Davidson alum, joins Ken Catanella as assistant's to GM Vlade Divac.

The Kings have yet to fill Perry's vacated vice president of basketball operations post.

Williams has nine years of experience working in the NBA league office and spent nine seasons playing professional ball domestically and internationally, including a brief nine-game stint with the Warriors during the 1997-98 season.

Divac issued the following statement regarding the hiring of Williams:

"We are so excited that Brandon is joining our front office team. He is an experienced and talented basketball executive. His knowledge of player development and basketball operations combined with his legal skills will be a strong addition to our team."
