Kings Close Preseason With Home Loss to Clippers

DeMarcus Cousins scored a game-high 23 points but it wasn't enough as the Kings lost to the Clippers 92-89 in their preseason finale Tuesday at the Golden 1 Center.

The Kings' next game will be their 2016-17 regular season opener next Wednesday in Phoenix.

Ben McLemore and Kosta Koufos rounded out the Kings' double-digit scorers with 11 and 10 points respectively.

The Clippers had five players in double figures, led by J.J. Redick's 18 points. Chris Paul scored eight points and dished out eight assists. Blake Griffin added 12 points and grabbed six rebounds.
